Advocacy Ambassadors - Denver Families for Public Schools

Advocacy Ambassadors is a leadership development program that supports participants to engage, activate, and mobilize their communities to drive student-centered policy and leadership in education.

Open to all Denver Public Schools families, educators, school leaders, and community members, the program equips participants with the tools and knowledge to be effective advocates for public education in Denver. Participants will gain:

Who should apply?

We’re looking for individuals who are:

Passionate about improving education in their community
Eager to build relationships with families, educators, and neighbors
Interested in learning more about policy, advocacy, and community leadership Committed to sharing what they learn with others
Denver resident (18 years or older) or any Denver Public Schools community member who is passionate about public education.

No prior experience is required.

Compensation and support

Please note: Candidates currently holding or seeking public office are ineligible to participate in Advocacy Ambassadors due to legal compliance in administration of this program.
