Mirian is a Mexican, married mother of two children, a girl who is in third grade and a boy who is in eighth grade. I am passionate about learning together with my children, and that is why now I am motivated to be an advocate of public education. I want to be able to inform and help other parents who want to know more about their children’s education, my community, and other communities – I want to be that bridge with new people to help connect with new programs, resources we have and also help give more quality education to our children.
