Ednium’s work is grounded in the belief that alumni of DPS are powerful agents of change. With support from Denver Families, Ednium mobilized BIPOC public school alumni to lead district-level advocacy and strengthen policies that improve academic opportunity, student well-being, and school safety. We’re proud to support Ednium’s mission and excited to see how their work continues to elevate alumni voices and drive meaningful change in Denver’s public schools.

Denver Families partnered with Compass Academy, GALS Denver, Downtown Denver Expeditionary School, and Omar D. Blair Charter School to launch a Mental Health Cohort focused on strengthening school-based supports. Through collaboration, shared learning, and resource-sharing, these single-site public charter schools exchanged best practices and built community around student well-being. We’re proud to support this collective effort and inspired by how these schools are creating more responsive environments.

Juntos believes that undocumented students and their families deserve clear pathways to opportunity and belonging. With support from Denver Families, Juntos expanded school-based workshops and advocacy that help DPS students and caregivers access academic opportunities, critical resources, and trusted supports that promote well-being and safety. We’re proud to support Juntos’ community-driven work and look forward to seeing their continued impact in empowering families and strengthening Denver’s public schools.
