One platform with two tools that provide easily-accessible information about public schools in Denver
A citywide view of school information, designed for policymakers, civic leaders and education advocates to find information about Denver Public Schools in one place
A resource for parents and caregivers who are seeking school-specific information to help choose the public school that best fits their child’s needs
Denver Public Schools (DPS) is the sole public school system in the City and County of Denver, Colorado and serves approximately 90,000 students
DPS believes all families should have equitable access to the schools they feel are the best fit for their students, regardless of their background or address. Each year the district hosts two rounds for enrollment, SchoolChoice Round 1 and Round 2.
Amplifying the voices in our community
Rooted in deep listening and community engagement, our work brings together Denver families, educators, alumni, and advocates to shape a responsive public education system. Since 2022, we’ve connected with community members through surveys, campaigns, and polling to understand what matters most in education. These insights have shaped a bold, community-informed policy platform focused on two core principles: ensuring every child has access to a high-quality education that honors their potential, and repositioning the community as key decision-makers in shaping the future of Denver Public Schools.
