Claudia Carrillo is a former Denver Public Schools student in southwest Denver and mother of three students who also attend DPS schools in southwest Denver. Claudia was a preschool teacher in an inclusive classroom for 10 years. In the process of teaching, she learned that her biggest passion was advocating for others.<\/p>\n
Claudia began by attending meetings at her son\u2019s school. She then found other parents and organizations that support parent advocacy. That began Claudia\u2019s path of advocating for her children.<\/p>\n
Claudia\u2019s hopes to make a change in her community by supporting other parents and students.
